The Isle of Man branch hosted the CAMRA AGM in 2010, and despite a few travel issues caused by Eyjafjallajökull, the event ran successfully.
This spurred the branch on, and in 2012, we held our first ever beer festival – a feat thought to have been impossible at one point. After selling out before the end of the festival, we realised we were onto something good, and the festival has increased in size year on year.
We outgrew our original venue in the Douglas Masonic Hall, and in 2015 we moved to the Villa Marina, and are now very popular with tourists coming over to experience not only the beer festival (which we think has to be held in one of the most amazing venues), but also the Isle of Man.
More details are on the beer festival website, with details of dates of this years festival, 6th-8th April 2017.
